On July 24 2022, UNFPA Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Implementing Partners gathered in a mid-year review meeting in the premises of MFA, to discuss mid-year progress and challenges.
During the session, Dr. Doraiswamy, UNFPA Representative in Iran emphasized on the mutual partnership with the Government of Iran, and recognized the forum as a place to accelerate progress and circumvent challenges by turning them into opportunities. .
Mr. Darzi, Assistant D.G. of Division of International Specialized Agencies of the MFA valued cooperation with UNFPA through knowledge and technology transfer, for moving the national strategies forward.
