Last week, Dr. Sathya Doraiswamy, UNFPA Representative in Iran was on a mission to the beautiful city of Isfahan with Dr. Hesamoddin Allameh, Head of the Secretariat of the National Council of Older People.
Dr. Doraiswamy had fruitful discussions with Dr. Valiollah Nasr Esfahani, Director General of State Welfare Organization of Isfahan, H.E. Dr. Ghasemzadeh, the Mayor and H.E. Dr. Seyed Reza Mortazavi, the General Governor of Isfahan on promotion of age-friendly environments/communities in the city. Dr. Doraiswamy announced the readiness of UNFPA to facilitate technical support to local authorities in this journey to make the city of Isfahan age-friendly.
