Youth Economic Participation and Macroeconomic Indicators

Knowledge and awareness of demographic changes, their characteristics and dimensions has a key position in welfare planning and policies. Demographic changes, especially among young people, have affected almost every aspect of Iran's economy and have had numerous effects on Iran's social, economic, political and environmental systems. In this regard, the young population group has also been affected by changes in the social and cultural system, policies and development programs.
In recent years, Iran has faced the demographic phenomenon of "population window of opportunities" and "youth bulge", and in terms of demographic concepts, has faced "demographic momentum" which has had many social, economic and cultural effects on Iran.
